Declan is an ecologist from Leitrim based in Cork. This website contains a number of webmaps that he built using html code.
Declan's first webmap shows plants and birds that were recorded during multiple visits to two nature reserve sites in Cork. The nature reserves in question, Harpers Island Wetlands and Cuskinny Marsh Wetlands are both designated for bird species and contain plentiful plant species as well.
Declan's second webmap shows the number of Leitrim Senior Football Championship wins by clubs in county Leitrim. Declan's own club Carrigallen has only won 2 senior championships, the last one being all the way back in the 40's!
Declan's third webmap shows every European Designated Site (Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and Special Protection Area (SPA)) in County Leitrim. Due to Leitrim's upland nature, the majority of these areas are mountain based.
